An early interest in finance led Jeffrey M. Davis to pursue a career in corporate law and estate planning. A graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, Mr. Davis also holds a bachelor of science in finance from the U of I, where he graduated with honors.

Mr. Davis began his legal career with Meyer Capel as a clerk in 1994 while still in law school. He went on to join the firm as a full-time associate in 1996 and became a shareholder in 2001. Mr. Davis concentrates in estate planning, business and corporate law, and real estate.

A member of the Champaign County and Illinois Bar Associations, Mr. Davis served as a member of the Illinois Army National Guard from 1990-96, earning the rank of sergeant. Mr. Davis and his wife Jodi, a native of Lincoln, Illinois and a University of Illinois graduate herself, enjoy golf, water skiing, and spending time with their daughter Ellie and sons Matt and Joseph.
