Jeffrey L. Landers II is an associate attorney in Meyer Capel’s Business and Real Estate Practice Groups. Jeff represents clients throughout the country on a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, outside general counsel services, entity planning and formation, and commercial real estate transactions. He also serves as a Commissioner on the Uniform Law Commission, having been appointed by the Illinois Senate in 2021.



Jeff graduated from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2020. While in law school, Jeff was the recipient of the Washington University Scholar in Law Scholarship and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards for Contracts and International Business Transactions. Jeff served as an Executive Notes Editor on the Washington University School of Law’s Global Studies Law Review and as a teaching assistant. Prior to law school, Jeff graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee in 2016 where he earned a B.A. in History & International Relations.

Community and Civic Engagement

Jeff is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and the McLean County Bar Association. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and Tennessee.
