Emmanuel Peace

Serving my clients as well as my community are of the utmost importance to me.

Emmanuel Peace joined Meyer Capel as an associate attorney in January 2021. He concentrates in Business Planning & Transactions, Real Estate, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Emmanuel graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2020. While in law school, he was the recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship, and was awarded the Weldon B. White Prize for the submission of the best paper in the fulfillment of the law school’s advance writing requirement for a graduating student. Outside of the classroom, Emmanuel served as the Director of Community Service and the Director of Educational Opportunities for the Vanderbilt Legal Aid Society. He was also a member of the Vanderbilt Black Law Student Association and the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Society. Prior to attending law school, Emmanuel graduated from the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Arts, with Honors, in Political Science and a minor in History.

Emmanuel and his wife Alley reside in Champaign. Outside of the office, Emmanuel enjoys golf, traveling, and critiquing movies.
