Meyer Capel Attorney Francis J. (Jerry) Jahn Selected as a Pillar of the Profession by the Champaign County Bar Association

Since joining Meyer Capel in 1970, Jerry has been instrumental in building and expanding the firm's business practice. He served as President of the firm from January 1999 until December 2010. Jerry's dedication to the legal profession is evident through his active participation in the Illinois State and Champaign County Bar Associations, as well as his contributions to the Corporate Acts Advisory Committee of the Illinois Secretary of State.
Jerry's hard work and leadership have been recognized consistently. Since 2010, he has been named among the Top 10 Downstate Illinois Business Lawyers and Top 10 Downstate Illinois Real Estate Lawyers by Leading Lawyers Magazine. His commitment to excellence extends beyond the legal field, as demonstrated by his involvement in various community organizations, including the Champaign Rotary Club and Faith United Methodist Church.
A graduate of the University of Illinois College of Law, Jerry's academic achievements include winning the Frederick M. Green Moot Court Competition and receiving the Horner Cup, Waterman Prize, and Harno Scholarship.
