Meyer Capel Collaborates with Champaign County History Museum for "Harry Breen: Unbound" Exhibition Opening

Meyer Capel is excited to announce its collaboration with the Champaign County History Museum for the opening of their newest exhibition, “Harry Breen: Unbound.” This event, part of the Boneyard Arts Festival, will showcase the incredible art of local artist Harry Breen (dec.).

On Saturday April 5th from 10am-2pm, begin your art journey at the Champaign County History Museum with a special reception celebrating the opening of the Harry Breen exhibit. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of Breen's works, including watercolor and oil paintings, original sketches, and pamphlets from his children's weekend art program, "Saturday's Children."

Following the reception, guests are invited to Meyer Capel to view a large oil painting and numerous watercolor paintings by Harry Breen in our main conference room. Additionally, visitors can see more of Breen's masterpieces at the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Champaign.

This collaboration aims to celebrate the rich artistic heritage of our community. Meyer Capel is proud to support local artists and contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Central Illinois.
