Meyer Capel Expands Into 19th Practice Area: Mediation and Arbitration
Meyer Capel, one of the largest most diversified law firms in Central Illinois, is proud to announce the expansion of our services with the addition of our 19th practice area: Mediation and Arbitration. Spearheading the venture into this new practice area is Sam Limentato, a distinguished civil litigator and former Champaign County Circuit Judge.
Sam's extensive experience and unique skill set make him exceptionally qualified to spearhead our Mediation and Arbitration practice. During his tenure as a Champaign County Circuit Judge, Sam served as the Presiding Judge of the Family Law Division. His expertise in financial matters, highlighted by his passage of the CPA exam, further enhances his ability to handle complex cases with precision and insight.
Sam is dedicated to delivering respectful, effective, and efficient mediation services, ensuring quality results in a timely manner. His approach allows attorneys to continue counseling their clients throughout the mediation or arbitration process, fostering a collaborative environment.
Licensed to practice in all Illinois state courts and the United States District Court (Illinois Central District), Sam is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association, serving as the incoming Chair of the Bench and Bar Committee and the Law Office Management Committee. He is also a member of the Champaign County Bar Association and has previously been involved with the Illinois Judges Association and the Illinois Certified Public Accountant Society. Additionally, Sam has served as an Administrative Law Judge for the Illinois Department of Public Health and as a certified mediator for Champaign County.
