John H. Elder joined Meyer Capel, a Professional Corporation, in 1987. He served for decades as the senior shareholder of the firm's trust and estates division until his retirement in 2024.

Marc J. Ansel was a veteran litigator who brought over 40 years of trial experience when he joined Meyer Capel in April 2016. He continued to serve as a trial lawyer for the firm concentrating on business and commercial litigation until his departure in 2024.

Jason A. Barickman joined Meyer Capel in 2012 and later became a shareholder of the firm in 2018. He served in the Illinois General Assembly for twelve years, ten of which were in the Illinois Senate. Jason stopped actively practicing law with the firm in 2024.

Mark D. Lipton joined Meyer Capel, a Professional Corporation, in June 1982 and later became a shareholder. He served as the senior shareholder of the firm's criminal and traffic division until his retirement in 2022.

Dennis Muncy joined Meyer Capel as a law clerk in 1965, became an associate of the firm in 1967 and shareholder in 1969. He was recognized nationally as an attorney in the field of telecommunications law until his retirement in 2022.

Rusty Freeland joined Meyer Capel in 1986. He served as a shareholder and member of the firm’s Board of Directors. He focused his practice on business law and corporate transactions until his retirement in 2021.
