Megan Bennett focuses her practice on real estate and business transactions. Prior to joining Meyer Capel, Megan practiced as an attorney in Peoria, Illinois. While in this role Megan assisted clients in both residential and commercial real estate matters. Megan also worked with clients on many matters related to corporations, limited liability companies, and other business entities.
Megan is a first-generation lawyer, so she understands how overwhelming and complicated the legal field can be for clients. For this reason, Megan works carefully with her clients to ensure that they understand what is happening in every step of the process.

Megan attended Illinois State University where she graduated magna cum laude in 2018 with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She then attended the University of Illinois College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2022 with her Juris Doctor degree.
Personal Interests
Megan resides in Bloomington with her husband, daughter, and three cats. When she is not practicing law, Megan enjoys visiting family in St. Louis, watching movies, and attending concerts.
