Legal Assistant – Family Law

Meyer Capel Law Firm is looking for a Legal Assistant to assist our firm’s growing Family Law department at our Bloomington office.

Prior experience in family law cases such as divorce, child support, child custody, and adoption are preferred, but the firm is willing to train and invest in a less experienced but otherwise highly qualified candidate with the ambition and drive to be the best in their field. The ability to be flexible, multi-task, and prioritize in fast-paced environment, a team player, and possess the ability to work independently. Must be comfortable with technology-based practice administration to include Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, legal case management software, and scanning and maintaining electronic files. Excellent opportunity to provide a variety of legal and administrative support services to our attorneys and deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Notary public license is preferred, but not required. If not a notary public already, the selected candidate will be expected to cooperate with the firm in applying for such license.
